Today is the first Sunday of 2011. And also marks the day which i created my very first Polyvore set. 9 things that are essential -- look presentably good yet feel as light as a feather and comfortable. Sitting here at my study balcony, listening to Billie Holiday's good old jazz with an overcast grey sky make it more tranquil and relaxing. Although my dad's tv show outside is quite irksome. And whoopsy daisy, i didn't comply to one of my New Year Resolutions -- to study everyday. Yup, no revision for today. Instead i found myself searching the net for fashion related blogs and i am very successful i must say. And my momsie just criticized me because she thinks fashion and the need to look good are redundant and unnecessary for a student. How demeaning! I realised nowadays, people are inclined to conform to the "dark" side of fashion -- trashy. Haven't you heard? Keep it classy, never trashy, just a little nasty. Don't walk out of that door till you get it right, or your image will be in shreds. Appearance comes first. Yes, I'm that judgmental and critical.
Black Ballerina Flats -- Bloch Irina calf hair ballerina flats, $195. Mine's from Rubi. Who says Rubi has cheap and ugly shoes? Let's put it this way -- it has affordable and average-looking footwear. I love the little cutie ribbon at the toes, makes everything more feminine and girly looking.
Aviator Style Sunglasses -- Golden Aviator Style Sunglasses , 310 EUROS. Honestly, i don't wear sunglasses, although the local weather is beyond humid and hot. But the edginess that it bears when you wear it, you literally make people STARE. Cos ya just that hawt.
Black Leather Wallet/Clutch -- Marc by Marc Jacobs - Classic Q Long Trifold (Black) , $198. Got mine from Primark for just 3 pounds. Can you believe it. And it is awfully heavy when it is full of receipts, notes, coins and cards. I love that it has numerous compartments, its beautiful, shiny skin and the little golden lock that helps keep everything safe.
Black Leather Lambskin Bag with Golden Satchel Chain -- CHANEL VINTAGE 70559 , 1,669 GBP. Similarly, i got mine from Primark for 8 pounds. Another filthy cheap bargain. Obviously not as pretty and exquisite as the Chanel's but its uncanny. Hell yes it's uncanny.
Dark coloured cropped skinny jeans -- Helmut Lang Mid-rise cropped skinny jeans, $240. I have around.. 5 pairs of jeans. Lighter shades of grey, black, and dark shades of denim blue. Compare it to denim shorts. Undeniably, jeans glare out a fiercer attitude. Duh. And most most most importantly, it's the most comfortable and convenient apparel ever. I feel complacent and safe when i wear them. Woah, that's alot of C words.
White shirt -- Richard Chai Love / Crepe de Chine Tee, $225. I love shirts that are baggy and loose. The airy light feeling is super comfortable. And it goes well with jeans. Bang!
Grey wool cardigan -- A.L.C. Asymmetric cashmere cardigan, $214. Keep me fluffy and warm. And again, it's so comfortable. It's official, the word Comfortable is very overused. There was a short period at exam time when i used to sleep with my cardigan on every night.
itouch with Union Jack skin -- GelaSkins | GelaSkins - Union Jack for iPhone 3GS, 3G, Original. When its gone, the distraction wards off. But convenience is the utmost priority and i need it back in my life. Check my mail, dictionary, music when I'm bored, blogger, tumblr, facebook and twitter. The last four ones -- addicted like fuck.
Dior Body Moisturizer Perfume Lotion -- Dior Miss Dior Diortendre Body Lotion - Review - Both Miss Page and.... It belongs to my momsie. Best thing? Its SCENT of feminine beauty and ambrosial divinity. Done.
